Shared ChatGPT chats alone have repeatedly turned up in plain Google searches in recent months — customer names, internal strategy, even credentials. The same applies to Claude, Gemini, and other AI chats. Most existing security tools are built for developers and large IT departments. For freelancers and small businesses who just want to know "is my ChatGPT chat exposed?", nothing has really fit — until now.

We check public share links from
Only providers with a real, search-engine-indexed public share feature are included. Private/agent tools without a public share link (e.g. OpenClaw, MyClaw) are out of scope, since that leak pattern doesn't exist there.
Email breaches are additionally checked against XposedOrNot's public breach database — as a complement to the AI chat check, not a replacement for dedicated breach-monitoring services.

What you type here is only held in memory for the duration of this one check and is discarded immediately after — we never store your search term, email address, or the results.

Is ChatGPT private?
Not by default. ChatGPT stores conversations, and if you share a chat via a share link, it can in some cases be picked up by search engines. In 2025, this led to thousands of previously private chats becoming findable via Google — including customer data and internal strategy.
How do I know if my ChatGPT chat is public?

What was the 2025 ChatGPT data leak?
Chats shared via the "make this chat discoverable" feature got indexed by Google, making them findable through normal search — reportedly several thousand conversations were affected, some containing sensitive business and personal data. OpenAI has since removed the feature.
Can my employer see my ChatGPT conversations?
Not directly on a private account — but if a chat was accidentally shared publicly, anyone, including an employer, could technically find it. That's exactly what Leaax checks for you.

Does the email check also cover stealer logs?
Yes. XposedOrNot's free database, which Leaax uses for the email check, also includes data from stealer logs — credentials stolen by infostealer malware, including from the large ALIEN TXTBASE collection. Those hits are included automatically at the tier we use, with no extra cost or higher tier required.
